From “what’s wrong?” to what to do next.
Plant Doctor looks at the species and the signs in your photos. You get a starting point for care, with uncertainty made visible.
Best-effort visual guidance, not a guaranteed diagnosis. For severe or unclear problems, ask a nursery or extension service to confirm.
A few good angles make a difference.
Show the whole plant, the most affected leaf, and the soil or one more angle. Add any context you’ve noticed.
A likely cause, with the clues behind it.
See what the AI noticed and which explanations it considers. A confidence score helps express uncertainty; it is not a guarantee.
Clear steps you can come back to.
The care plan puts the next actions in order. Save it with your plant, adjust reminders, and record how things change.

More details in support and how Plant Doctor works.
What can I do for free?
You get 7 photo check-ups plus one more each month. Your garden, treatment plans, watering reminders and plant histories stay free. Pro adds check-ups beyond that allowance and follow-up chat. You do not need a Pro trial to use the free check-ups.
How accurate is a photo diagnosis?
It depends on the plant, the problem and the photos. Plant Doctor suggests likely causes, explains the evidence and shows a confidence score. It can be wrong and does not guarantee a cure. For a valuable plant or a severe or unclear problem, get an in-person opinion from a nursery or extension service.
Do I need an account?
No. Download the app and start a check-up without creating an account. Your garden, care plans and histories live on your phone. New AI check-ups need an internet connection.
What happens to my photos?
Your photos and any context you submit are processed to produce the check-up and are not retained by us after the response. They are not used to train AI models. Your saved garden lives on your device. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
Can it help with pet safety or edible plants?
Plant Doctor flags known-toxic species, but pet-safety notes are educational, not veterinary advice. If a pet has chewed a plant, contact a vet or poison-control service first. The app refuses questions about whether wild plants or mushrooms are safe to eat.
Which phones does it work on?
Plant Doctor is available in English for iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later. Android is planned. The App Store listing linked from this website is the official download.
