Updated
Purchases and Pro
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Use Restore Purchases in the app, signed into the Apple account used to purchase Pro. Restoring Pro restores the subscription entitlement; your garden data is stored separately on your device.
How do I cancel Plant Doctor Pro?
On iPhone, open Settings, select your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Plant Doctor. Follow Apple’s cancellation steps and review the expiry date shown there. Deleting the app does not cancel Pro.
Do I need Pro to keep my garden?
No. Your garden, treatment plans, reminders and histories stay free. Pro adds photo check-ups beyond the free allowance and follow-up chat.
Your garden and data
How do I export my data?
Open Settings in Plant Doctor and choose Export. Your collection, diagnosis history, care events, notes and reminder schedule are stored on your device; exporting gives you a copy.
How do I delete my garden data?
In Plant Doctor, open Settings and choose Delete all my data. Your garden is stored on your device and there is no server-side garden account to close. Manage an active subscription separately in your Apple account.
Can I use my saved care plans offline?
Yes. Your garden, treatment plans and reminders live on your phone. New AI check-ups and follow-up chat need an internet connection.
Getting a useful check-up
A diagnosis looks wrong. What should I do?
Check that the photos are recent, sharp and well lit. Include the whole plant, the affected leaf and another useful angle. If the species looks wrong, use Pick another in the app. For severe or unclear cases, ask a local nursery or extension service for an in-person opinion.
What if the app cannot answer my question?
Some things cannot be assessed from a photo. Plant Doctor offers best-effort guidance rather than a guaranteed diagnosis. It also refuses edibility and foraging questions. If a pet has chewed a plant, contact a vet or poison-control service instead of relying on an app answer.
